This watch is a masterpiece of the highest watchmaking art of the last century, was built along the lines of the one invented by Sir William Congreve, who patented it in 1808. Its main feature is represented by a ball that moves along a zigzag path on an inclined board which in turn, every thirty seconds will change his plan of inclination. To control this change is the same ball that at the end of his career up against a lever, move, free gear train thus allowing the movement of the sliding table. The clock obviously can not be very accurate as the time taken for the ball to move its route is subject to too many varianticome dust, 'humidity, static electricity and other environmental factors; nonetheless has always fascinated him who has stopped to watch the ball that moves endlessly imprisoned in his path. The structure of this true work of art is made of brass and steel, resting on a base made of burl wood which enhances even more the look. The watch itself is protected by a glass case. A furnishing element and design, functional and aesthetically appealing that immediately catches the eye of the observer.
