Wedding Bands

Almost entirely a matter of weight. A slim band of a gram and a half starts at around 260 euro, a classic five-gram band is around 850, a ten-gram one goes past 1,700. The price moves with the gold price: here it is recalculated every day.

There is no better one: what counts is what you already wear. Yellow gold is the most traditional and sits well with warm jewellery; white matches the steel of a watch and diamonds; rose is the softest on fair skin. Many couples choose two different golds, and that is perfectly fine. All our bands are solid 18 carat gold, not plated.

The plain band is the traditional choice: clean, hard-wearing, always elegant. The diamond-cut one has a faceted surface and adds brilliance without giving up simplicity. Comfort fit means the inside is slightly domed: it slips on and off more easily and does not mark the finger.

Yes, all of them. The engraving is on the inside and is done with a laser: the wedding date, your names, a phrase. It costs 10 euro per band and you can choose between block capitals and italics. On the handmade bands from our own workshop it is included in the work. An engraved band is personalised: it cannot be exchanged or returned.

Measure the circumference of the finger with a strip of paper at the end of the day, when the hand is at its largest: the Italian size is that circumference in millimetres minus 40. A 57 mm finger is a size 17. When in doubt, take the larger one: tightening a band is easier than widening it.

The bands in the window are available immediately, or in the right size within one or two weeks. Made-to-measure ones — custom width, weight or design — take three or four weeks of work. Allow a few days more for the engraving.
