FAQ — Pre-owned watches
What warranty does a pre-owned watch carry?
12 months, given by us — against 24 months on new products. There is no manufacturer’s warranty on a used piece, and anyone promising one is not telling you the truth. What matters is who stands behind the watch: here, we do, with our own workshop.
How do you check that a watch is genuine?
Three things: that case number, movement and documents agree; that dial, hands and crown are original, since those are the parts most often replaced; and how the movement actually behaves when measured. None of it is visible from the outside — the watch has to be opened.
Can I have my own vintage watch serviced?
Yes, even if you did not buy it from us: full servicing, parts sourcing and water-resistance testing. On period pieces the rule is to do as little as possible — conserve, do not rebuild.
